DESCRIPTION & HISTORY
During our first encounter, we estimated that this manta was roughly 3.1 metres in width, from wing-tip to wing-tip. Despite her large size, based on the lack of mating scars on her left pectoral fin, we still class this manta as a juvenile.
She has a medium length tail, and evidence of a healing shark bite wound on her right pectoral fin.
